Describe what you do at Grace?
I work primarily with students; I teach in a couple local high school bible study’s and our Youth Group on Wednesday nights. I also lead a young men’s discipleship group as well as serve in our music ministry.
What experience, education, and/or work background do you bring with you to Grace?
I have a B.A. in Bible from Bob Jones University
What are you most passionate about when it comes to ministry?
Seeing God actually and radically change us through the studying hearing of God’s word! Also, believing we belong to one another and tirelessly serve and commit to one another’s growth in grace.
Tell us about your family.
I have a wonderful family. My mother is Hilda, my Father is Santos, my brother is named Frank and my sister is Lydia.
Briefly, describe how you came to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
I was 18 when I discovered that God was real; God showed me in the Bible that Jesus came to save the world from sin and I needed him and him alone to have a relationship with God. Sin, I found out, wasn’t something that I recreationally engaged in, but was actually my master and only Christ set’s slaves to sin free!
What is something someone would be surprised to know about you?
I have never, and will never, seen the movie Frozen.
If you had to describe yourself in 5 words, what would they be?
What is one of your favorite smells?
I actually love the smell of fresh rain on asphalt. I also love the smell of the lumber section of Home Depot, makes me feel like a man.
Among your friends or family, what are you famous for?
Spilling drinks. Getting lost. Rapping at wedding receptions.
